Shows flavours of – Tropical fruit, sweet almond, grass, pine needles, apple, mint, herbs, well balanced, ripe tomato, minty green apple and aroma, butter lettuce, rocket, baby leaf salad.

About Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate
Gabriëlskloof is a family owned and run wine estate just off the N2 outside Botrivier. The farm and vineyards were established in 2000 and boasts sweeping views of the Babylonstoren Mountains and the surrounding wheat fields, understated architecture and stylish, comfortable interiors.

Producer History
Our first olives were planted in 2003 and our first oils made in our factory 2010. The olive groves are right at home in the cool Mediterranean climate that is so kind to our grapes. A mix of Coratina, Frantoio and Leccino olive trees grow on the sunny Gabriëlskloof slopes. The fruit is small with intense flavour, hand-picked and then cold-pressed to produce boutique quality extra virgin olive oil.

Oil Maker & 2016 Harvest
It is a real team effort headed up by Barry Anderson, along with Adriaan David’s and Ferdi Coetzee. For Gabriëlskloof a low yielding year with high quality oils.

Tasting Notes: A medium style well balanced EVOO fresh cut grass, green tomato and artichokes.

Pairing: Slow roasted leg of lamb, Gabriëlskloof style.
