Cultivars: Blended oil – mostly Franttoia/Corratina/Luccino
Litres Produced: 1100 litres

About Adamskloof Estate:
Adamskloof is a boutique concern owned by brothers Johann and Andre Raats. It is situated in the Hemel and Aarde Ridge region near Hermanus. The Orchard has constantly produced medal winning extra virgin olive oils.

Producer History:
Oils produced last six years. Crop varies between 1000 and 2000 lit per year.

Oil Maker & 2017 Harvest:
Morgenster is the olive oil maker. Although a very difficult and dry season we managed to produce one of the most balanced oils to date. The picking was done in two batches consisting of a greener batch and a ripe batch, the blend was 50/50 of each.

Tasting Notes:
Well-balanced medium EVOO. Fruity /bitter / pepper balance. Green olive, olive leaves, almond and ripe green tomato

Pairing:
Adamskloof EVOO will pair well with most foods salads / Mediterranean dishes from delicate to robust meaty dishes
