About Cederberg Olives:
Cederberg Olives is a brand of Mount Ceder which is situated in a secluded valley where the Koue Bokkeveld and Cederberg mountains meet. Our first olive trees were planted in 2003.

Producer History:
I have been a shareholder of Mount Ceder since 1997 and personally involved with the planning and planting of our olive trees. I am also responsible for the oil that is made for Cederberg Olives and Mount Ceder. I think it is fair to say that to be involved with the whole process from picking to crushing to where the oil flows out of the machine is my joy and passion.

Oil Maker & 2017 Harvest:
This is the first year that we made olive oil with our own machine. We had an average crop this year with dry and warm to cool weather during the harvest period.

Tasting Notes:
Delicate/soft Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Positive attributes: the fruit of green and ripe olives, almond and pine seed free of defects. Our mild climate contributes to a consistent taste and flavour.

Pairing:
Green salads, pasta and good quality bread.
