The Basic Tasting Course

Industry and retail were well represented at the SA Olive sponsored Basic Tasting Course. Reni Hildenbrand and Linda Costa took the participants through the steps of olive oil tasting and shared some basic production and storage tips.  Participation was lively and from the feedback it is clear that everyone’s knowledge was expanded and deepened by the course.

Creating spaces for learning and sharing knowledge is an important part of building an industry and creating a legacy within it.  Reni and Linda share a wealth of knowledge and are passionate about what makes this industry tick. Judging by the questions asked, their teachings were stimulating and something the industry can benefit from on an on-going basis.
