Untapped opportunities for trade and investment between the Western Cape and the EU

Wesgro, in collaboration with the European Union (EU) Delegation to South Africa, invites you to a workshop to explore new opportunities for bilateral trade and investment between the Western Cape and the EU.

The workshop will include a presentation of new research, commissioned by the EU, that identifies priority products and markets for exporters from the Western Cape, as well as discussions with senior EU and Provincial trade officials.

These are some of the highlights that you can expect on the day:

  • Highlights of South Africa, and Western Cape, trade performance with the EU
  • Identifying untapped opportunities for exports from the Western Cape to the EU
  • Agriculture quota utilisation under the EU-SADC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), and support provided by the Department of Agriculture Western Cape to expand exports from Western Cape to EU
  • Wesgro services to support exports from Western Cape to EU
