About the Event
Africa Day commemorates the founding of the Organisation of African Unity – now known as the African Union – founded on 25 May 1963. Celebrating African unity, Africa Day provides an opportunity to connect with and build strong relationships with key African markets, promoting intra-Africa trade.

Event Overview
The Africa Day business networking forum is hosted by Wesgro in partnership with the Department of the Premier of the Western Cape, the Department of Agriculture, and Mazars SA.
The event forms part of the Africa Week celebrations programme for 2023 and aims to bring together businesspeople across Africa to learn, share their experiences, and network with local businesses from the Western Cape.
