The planning for our prestigious annual SA Olive Awards 2024 has begun. The SA Olive Awards is an annual competition dedicated to recognizing and honoring the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) produced in South Africa. This prestigious event aims to promote high standards and celebrate the achievements of local olive oil producers.
The SA Olive Awards is not just a competition but a celebration of the dedication and skill of South African olive oil producers. By adhering to strict entry criteria, the awards ensure the recognition of only the best and most authentic EVOO, contributing to the growth and prestige of the local olive oil industry.
Entries to this prestigious competition have now officially opened. We are happy to share that this year the process for entry will be an online process.

Important dates to diarize:
- Opening date for entries: 29th July 2024
- Closing date for entries: 08th August 2024
- Sample delivery: 15 & 16th August 2024 (venue to be communicated)
- Judging week : 19 – 24th August 2024
- SA Olive Awards ceremony: 10th September 2024
