Producer history: Our Olive groves are planted on the steep slopes of the Groot Drakenstein foothills on L’Ormarins Estate, where wine has been made for over 300 years. It is the viticultural & production hub of Anthonij Rupert Wyne where 6 different wine brands are produced.
L’Ormarins Estate has been owned by the Rupert family for over 50 years, and has his constant innovation coupled with care of the environment over the course of this history.
Short introduction to the oil maker & his/her comment on the 2020 harvest: Bryan Beverly, horticulturist at L’Ormarins and Anthonij Rupert Estates is the proud caretaker of the Estate Olive groves who has been looking after them since 2009. Bryan loves working with the surprises and magic which unfolds working with nature, and is passionate about delivering healthy delicious olive oils to consumers, while ensuring ultimate stewardship of the land on which the olive groves are found.
