Producer history: Oudewerfskloof is an Olive farm near Stilbaai in the Hessequa District, WC, where the Brummer Family nurture 20 000 trees to produce award-winning olive products. With over ten years’ experience in the Olive industry, the Brummer Family want to share its beauty and secret ingredients from the deepest soil of the Goukou River banks, with others.

Short introduction to the oil maker & his/her comment on the 2020 harvest: Hannes Brummer and his late wife Henriette, together with their daughters, Theresa and Frances loved their holidays at Stilbaai. What started off as ‘fun in the sun’ and family get-togethers, turned out to be their true passion, olive farming. The soil, fresh air and olives got into their fibres when they bought Oudewerfskloof, which originally was a small farm with a grove of olive trees begging to be rescued. The olive bug bit them and they have spent the last 10 years establishing themselves in the market through passion and hard work. The farm is home away from home (Port Elizabeth) where Hannes is a Urologist/Surgeon.

Where to buy: All national retailers are on our website: www.oudewerfskloof.co.za
